Protocol of Interaction with International Clients

Protocol and steps when assisting international clients, requiring litigation advice or services in South Africa:

  1. An email is received from the prospective client with an exposition of the legal problem.

  2. An email is sent to the client for verification purposes of the client as well as detailing the fee structure and initial deposit required.

  3. Proof of the deposit payment is sent to us, by the client, together with acceptance of the fee structure.

  4. The initial instruction from the client is considered and a request for further information / supporting documentation may follow to the client.

  5. Once sufficient documentation and/or information has been received a remote (telephone or Skype) consultation is arranged to discuss the future conduct of the case.
